Pakistan: A Mineral Marvel

Unleashing Potential: Accelerating Pakistan’s Mineral Revolution

Pakistan is poised to position itself as a prized destination on the global mineral map.  More than 60% of the outcrop of the country is sitting on mineralized zones and out of 92 identified minerals and metals, only around 70 have been tapped. The Tethyan Metallogenic Belt creates a globally recognized porphyry copper-gold mineralized zone in western Pakistan which houses world-class assets. Pakistan also offers varied other prizes ranging from rare-earth elements, industrial minerals, non-metallic minerals, metals and gemstones as revealed by extensive geological surveys done across the country.
Pakistan is participating at the Future Minerals Forum 2026, Riyadh to showcase the promise its geology holds for the mining world. Under the aegis of the SIFC the government's commitment to developing mining stands strong. There are attractive legal and fiscal frameworks in place, a strategic location with functional ports and state-owned and private sector players eager to build productive synergies and partnerships with investors at the FMF. Pakistan is all set to make the most of its presence at the FMF, recognised as a premier global event in the mining sector.
